We are 96% complete on the All Weather Track Project! The final phase is to add Stadium Seating for 500 Fans! Your donation will be doubled as the project has been blessed with a $14,000 matching grant to complete the bleachers.

Thank you to everyone who has supported the project so far. We have been able to pour the All-Weather Synthetic Track during the summer to add safety updates to the original cinder track and construct a state-of-the-art 8-lane durable running course. This helps lay a solid foundation for our students to participate and host meets that are less stressful on runners with more consistent results.

In addition, this project has us on track to:
  • Host LCCS First Home Meet in Spring 2022
  • Expand K-12 outdoor physical education opportunities
  • Start a Fitness Friday running program for grades 3-6
  • Provide training facilities for LCCS athletic teams
  • Enhance community engagement

Congratulations to Medgine Wojton, Kloe Maninga, Morgan Swartzentruber & Ta'Misha Twitty (all pictured above) for a TREMENDOUS showing at the OHSAA State Meet! Medgine Wojton finished 3rd in the 100m Dash & 6th in the 200m Dash. All 4 girls finished 6th in the 4x200m Relay & 8th in the 4x100m Relay!
